Our tips for filming at night
If few videographers shoot at night, it's because it's not the easiest task. The lack of natural light can complicate the task, resulting in grainy or blurred images if you haven't mastered the right camera settings. What's more, it can be difficult to find the perfect balance between ISO sensitivity, aperture and shutter speed to obtain a well-exposed image without too much digital noise.
A bright lens is one with a large aperture. Why is it important to use it for evening or night shots? Because the wider your aperture (F1.2 to F2.8), the more light the sensor receives. This means you can keep your ISO settings to a minimum and keep your image sharp.

And let's not forget the choice of equipment and accessories, which can also have an impact on the quality of your night-time videos.
The solution is to carry a light source with you, a key piece of video equipment when you want to shoot a video in low-light conditions.
